Bono and The Edge Perform Stairway To Heaven

U2 - Stairway to Heaven

Bono and The Edge got together for an acoustic version of "Stairway to Heaven." They did it on Songs from an Empty Room, a show that aired Saturday on Irish TV to raise money for those in the live-events industry who are out of work because of the COVID-19. They did "Stairway" as a tribute to their road crew, who perform the song at U2's soundcheck, and, according to Bono, the crew thinks they do it better than Led Zeppelin.

There’s an alternative solution to Lollapalooza after it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Chicago festival is planning to air a four-day livestream of past performances. The stream will include over 150 sets from artists like Metallica, Arcade Fire, and others. Lolla2020 will aim to raise awareness about social issues. The stream is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. this Thursday through Sunday.

Needtobreathe will mark today’s release of Out of Body with a live concert streaming from a Nashville studio tonight at 9. You can buy tickets for the show on the band's website.
