BONO, WILL.I.AM: Collaborate on "Life"

#SING4LIFE - feat. Bono and will.i.am

The song that Bono posted St. Patrick's Day about the coronavirus pandemic has gotten a full studio version with some help. "Let Your Love Be Known," is now called "Sing 4 Life." It’s vocals from Bono, will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson, with Yoshiki of X Japan on piano. will.i.am posted a video of it and wrote, "This song was created to bring JOY. In times like these, creative people must continue to collaborate. Whether you are a computer scientist, an engineer, a Therapist or a Teacher, just because we are self-isolating or in quarantine doesn’t mean you are alone. The beauty of international connectivity is that nobody is alone on the Internet!"

Sam Smith picked a perfect song to kick off the quarantine covers series -- the classic "What the World Needs Now." Sam did an a capella version, with a message saying, "Just woke up. Having a coffee and felt like singing. I haven’t felt like singing for a few weeks now. Feels good. Have a beautiful day today everyone. The sun is out for you."

Bright Eyes have released the first track from their upcoming album. It's called "Persona Non Grata," and the band says, "It was hard to decide which song to share first because they are all quite different, but this one seemed as good a place as any to start. And it has bagpipes!" Bright Eyes is scheduled to start a North American tour May 14th.
