DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE: Ben Pens Song for Seattle

A Message to Seattle from Ben Gibbard

Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie has written a new song for people under quarantine in Seattle. The city is one of the hardest hit locations in the coronavirius pandemic, and Ben wrote, “Life Under Quarantine". He plans to put out an official recording of the song to benefit charity within the next week or so. Ben's daily concerts from home will continue each day at 7:00 p.m. on Death Cab's YouTube page.

The Killers have released a video for their new single "Caution." The band says the clip is a sneak peek from the short film they did with director Sing Lee. The Killers' new album, Imploding The Mirage, is due out May 29th.

The Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, which was to go the weekend of May 1st, has been postponed to the fall. The lineup included The Lumineers, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer and The Avett Brothers. An announcement about a new date will be made soon.
