DIXIE CHICKS: Now The Chicks
The Dixie Chicks are now just The Chicks. Their website and social media accounts reflect the change. The switch was apparently made to reflect social changes. Under their new name on their website they wrote, "We want to meet this moment." Now, there's a group in New Zealand called The Chicks, but they reached out to them and got permission to use the name. The Chicks' album Gaslighter -- their first in 14 years -- is out July 17th. They've also released a consciousness-raising song called, "March March”.
Twenty One Pilots have released a video explaining how all the secret codes they released earlier this month led to their new "never-ending" video for "Level of Concern." They tweeted the clip by saying, "Recently our dads were asking what the heck was going on with those codes."
Pearl Jam would've started its European tour this week, so to make up for it they've posted never-before-seen footage from past Euro tours. Check out a performance of "Breath" in Berlin, Germany.
