GREEN DAY: Billie Joe Records Cover in His Bedroom
Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day has spent his time social distancing recording a cover. He writes, "While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music. I recorded a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells' 'I Think We’re Alone Now' in my bedroom. I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together."
Ed O'Brien from Radiohead believes he has the coronavirus. On Instagram he says, "I've been at home with flu-like symptoms for a number of days now. It is most likely the coronavirius. I've lost my sense of smell and taste, and it's been like a dose of the flu." Some coronavirus patients have reported a loss of smell and taste. Ed tells us he's self-quarantined away from his family at home in Wales.
Billy Raffoul will be doing what he’s calling his 2020 Social Distancing Tour from a different room in his dad’s house in Leamington, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, leading up to an April 3rd release party for his A Few More Hours at YYZ EP. That day, he’ll perform all six of its songs and do a Q-and-A session. It all takes place on Instagram Live.
