Ireland Puts U2 on Stamps

Ireland's Post Postal Service has unveiled four U2 stamps. U2 – A Celebration 1976-2020, is a four-stamp set representing distinct eras in their career through four albums: 1987's The Joshua Tree, 1991's Achtung Baby, 2000's All That You Can't Leave Behind, and 2017's Songs of Experience. In other U2 news, they’re streaming the complete 2001 Elevation Show Live from Boston October 30th at 1pm to celebrate that day's release of the 20th anniversary edition of All That You Can't Leave Behind.

Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill is the leading nominee for the 2020 Tony Awards. The show gets 15 nominations including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical in a year that had less contenders than usual because the Broadway season ended March 12th due to the pandemic. Only 18 shows were eligible this year. The 2020 Tony Awards ceremony will be broadcast digitally and take place later this year.
