Goo Goo Dolls have released a live video for "Fearless," the latest single from their 2019 album Miracle Pill. The clip was filmed in Kalamazoo during their fall 2019 tour.
If things are a little quiet from your favorite artist today, there’s a reason. Today is Blackout Tuesday in the music biz. It started when two Black women at Atlantic Records made the call to action #TheShowMustBePaused. The movement’s creators, Brianna Agyemang and Jamila Thomas, say the purpose is to “intentionally disrupt the work week... The music industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. An industry that has profited predominantly from Black art. The mission is to hold the industry at large, including major corporations + their partners who benefit from the efforts, struggles and successes of Black people accountable."
Jack Bevan of Foals has really missed one thing while in self-isloation -- his drums. Bevan tells us, “this is the longest I’ve gone without playing the drums since I was 14." He expects to get behind them again soon as the band's plans for this year have changed. "Our initial plan was to spend 2020 touring, then go back into the studio next year. But I think we’ll probably start writing later this year instead, and get back to touring next year -- if we’re allowed."
