Before today’s release of his memoir, Let Love Rule, Lenny Kravitz was interviewed by his second cousin, Al Roker, live on the Today show. Al Roker and Lenny’s late mom, Roxie Roker, were first cousins. Lenny said writing the memoir, which covers the first 25 years of his life, helped him mend some bridges with his dad, who died in 2005. He also says he’s been working on new music during his tropical lockdown and plans on releasing something "very soon.”
Lewis Capaldi is helping out small venues in the U.K. He'll do a livestream show from Scotland Friday starting at 2 pm. Fans will be asked to donate money to the Music Venue Trust, which was formed in an attempt to keep small venues going during the pandemic.
Just imagine Ed Sheeran without his red hair? Well, his old manager told him he'd never be successful with it. Stuart Camp, who's been Ed's manager for more than nine years, said on the Straight Up podcast that changing the hair wasn't the only thing the previous management group tried to do. "The other management actually resigned from him because they said he wasn’t going anywhere. He had to drop the looping pedal, dye his hair black and give up rapping."
