ADOPTED! HTZ HOUNDZ: Adoptable Dog of the Week - Bella
Hey HTZ Nation, Jonathon here again with another dog in need of a forever home from Niagara Dog Rescue. When people are looking for a new forever friend, senior dogs often get overlooked for homes in favour of dogs who are younger. However, senior dogs still have large amounts of love, energy and play to give to a family, like this week's pup Bella.
Bella is a 9 year old boxer mix who came into the shelter as a stray. Since getting off the street, she has gained weight and turned into a ball of energy. This girl is looking to put the gold into her golden years.
Bella is very gentle and playful with kids but we are recommending she go to a home with older kids so she doesn't knock anyone over when she gets going. She gets along better with male dogs than other female dogs, but is comfortable being the only dog as well. She shows little to know interest in cats and could go to a home with them.
Bella is very playful for her age. She espicially loves being outside with her ball and playing in a yard. A fenced in yard is a must for this girl and an owner who is committed to getting her out for quality walks.
Please don't over look this sweet senior pup without reading her full profile here. I encourage you to fill out an application, and give this girl the retirement home life she deserves. With 15% off your first purchase at Vansickle Pet Valu or Lundy's Lane Pet Valu, you'll be able to grab all the toys and treats to help Bella keep feeling her very best. We appreciate their support and knowledge to help new pet owners start with the best paw forward. Please Share Bella and her story with friends and family so she doesn't have to wait a day longer to find the forever home to spend her days.
