Hey HTZ Nation, it’s Jonathon, back with another adoptable dog looking for his home here in the Niagara region. This week it’s Jaxx from the Niagara Dog Rescue.  Jaxx interestingly enough, has something in common with fellow HTZ announcer, Steve. They both love their kiddie pools.

Jaxx is a 2.5 year old lab mix who is currently in foster care. He’s looking for a home with a yard where his owners can throw his ball, which happens to be his favourite toy. He is good with kids and adults of all kinds and would make a great family dog for experienced owners.

He does well with female dogs, but does not play nice with male dogs. An experienced owner will be able to handle his reactivity and further his training to help him become the best dog he can be. I have to say I am a huge fan of this sweet boy because I have had two black lab mixes in my life, and I really hope he finds his forever home real soon. If you’d like to read more about Jaxx, click here and find the Niagara Dog Rescue adoption form here.

Also, do you have ties to the United States? Maybe you know someone, who lives in Texas, in particular the San Antonio area. Niagara Dog Rescue is looking for fosters in that area while they await the reopening of the border to bring rescue dogs up to Canada. Maybe you could pass along this foster application to them and we can help save more dogs down south.  Remember, no one can do everything, but everyone can do something.  Take care
