HTZ HOUNDZ: Adoptable Dog of the Week – Blue

Howdy HTZ Nation, it's Jonathon here. I have new pup to introduce to you, who's made their way to Ontario from Northern Manitoba. From Niagara Dog Rescue, meet Blue

Now at first look, you may think that Blue might be part Polar Bear, espicially coming from Northern Manitoba. However, he is actually a Husky/Shepherd Mix, who is between 3 and 4 years old. While he isn't quite bear sized he is a big boy, weighing in around 80lbs.

Living most of his life as a stray, Blue can be cautious around new people. He takes sometime to show his true personality, and tends to open up to women easier than men. Due to his size and strength, we would like to see him in a home with older children. Blue is still learning how to be in a house and his own, with some signs of seperation anxiety. If you work from home, that could be a very advantageous lifestyle for Blue while he continues to learn to open up and bond with a new family.

If you'd like to read more about Blue, you can find his full profile from NDR here. You can also jump right to the adoption form here if his story is tugging on your heart strings. With help from our friends at Vansickle Pet Valu and Lundy's Lane Pet Valu, you'll start your new journey with Blue with 15% off your first purchase, a free bag of dog food and a free pet bath at their self wash station. So you can bring home a well fed, well groomed pup with all the essentials to help him thrive with his furever family. Lastly, I ask that you please share Blue with friends and family who may be looking for a pup to help him find a place to call home real soon. Thank you HTZ Nation!
