HTZ Houndz: Adoptable Dog of the Week - Cindy Lou
Hey HTZ Nation, Jonathon back to introduce you to a new forever friend looking for a home. Is The Fox and The Hound one of your favourite Disney movies? Have you always wanted a hound dog? Well look no further than Cindy Lou.
Cindy Lou is a 4 year Fox Hound looking for her forever home after coming in as a stray, with Niagara Dog Rescue. She is about 50 pounds and has all the traditional black, white and tan markings of a typical hound. And of course those giant ears and strong nose. Much like any other hound dog, Cindy Lou has a high prey drive so she will need a home with no cats or small animals.
Cindy Lou is dog friendly but can be food aggressive. As a stray, she is used to having to eat fast and protect her food from others. Using a bowl or device to slow down her eating would be helpful for her. It is also recommended she go to a family with older kids, who will understand not to grab her food or chew toys while she is snacking.
This girl has alot of energy and loves to be outside. She needs a home with a back yard where she can most of her day. Cindy Lou is also looking for an owner who is commited to walking her 2 to 3 times a day for at least 20+minutes. So if you are an active owner, who is happy to explore with this hound dog, I reccomend filling out an application for Miss Cindy Lou here. To read more about her click here.
