HTZ Houndz: Adoptable Dog of the Week - Kodak

Hey HTZ Nation, Jonathon here with a dog in need of a new home! Sometimes we have a dog at Niagara Dog Rescue who ends up needing a new home through no fault of their own. Today's dog finds himself in this exact scenario and we know with how great he is, it won't last long! Meet Kodak

Kodak is a 3 year old Lab/Mountain Cur mix looking for a forever home right here in the Niagara Region. This beautiful brindle boy weighs about 70 lbs, and is a very active and well trained dog. In his previous home, he loved adventures and anything to do with the water!

This incredibly sweet dog is coming from home where he lived with 2 children under the age of 3 years old, so he knows how to behave around children of all ages and would love another family home! Kodak is a little scared of other dogs but if introduced slowly, he will open to play with the right dogs. We think it would be best of he was the only dog in the home though. That home can be in an apartment, or a house with or without a fenced in yard.

We think Kodak will be an amazing dog for anyone out there, and we hope he finds his forever home very soon. You can read his full story and how he ended up with Niagara Dog Rescue by clicking here. If you would like to adopt Kodak, click here to fill out an application! With Kodak being such an adventure bound water dog, you'll definitely want to stop in to Vansickle Road Petvalu or Lundy's Lane Petvalu to take advantage of 15% off your first purchase, all for adopting one of our HTZ Houndz Dogs. They have plenty of water toys and safety devices to keep Kodak well in the water! Lastly, please like and share Kodak and his post to help him get settled in a new forever home.
