COVID tests for those with no symptoms available at two Kingston pharmacies

Testing

Kingston residents who want a COVID-19 test but don't have any symptoms can now get one at two city pharmacies.

Kingston was added to the provincial list of Cities with asymptomatic testing Wednesday with Shoppers Drug Mart locations on Strand Boulevard and Division Street now offering tests.

Premier Doug Ford said the move was part of the province's testing strategy that has seen asymptomatic tests permitted at over 150 pharmacies in Ontario.

Tests at pharmacies are free for residents who want one.

Those with COVID-19 symptoms are asked to book appointments for tests at assessment centres in Kingston and Napanee, as the full-time centres are only testing those with symptoms per provincial guidelines.
