Ontario's police watchdog is looking for any witnesses with video of a recent police standoff involving Kingston Police to come forward and share it as a probe into officers' actions continues.

The nearly 13-hour standoff on Ford Street on Sept. 23 ended in the arrest of one man inside the residence who police had said earlier stabbed three people before he barricaded himself inside. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and spent more than two weeks in the Intensive Care Unit before being updated to stable condition.

In a news release Thursday, the Special Investigations Unit said their investigation continues and asked for "witnesses with video footage to provide that evidence to investigators."

Three investigators have been assigned to the case, according to the SIU, who ask anyone with video upload it directly on their website.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to get in touch with the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529.
