Police Seek Witnesses to Fatal Crash

Kingston Police are hoping to hear from witnesses of a fatal collision in Amherstview.

Investigators say a vehicle on Coronation Boulevard struck a rock cut south of Taylor-Kidd Boulevard just after 10:00 pm Friday. Police say the boy, 16, driving the vehicle, was conscious and able to talk, but a girl, 16, who was riding in the vehicle, was unresponsive and had to be extracted from the vehicle. Both were rushed to hospital by ambulance, where the girl later died of her injuries.
