Health Care Heroes
Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, health-care providers have been our strong, selfless protectors - helping to halt further spread of the virus and caring for thousands of vulnerable patients across Manitoba. We'd like you to meet a few of these health-care heroes, courtesy of the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation. Click below to hear first-hand what working on the front lines means to those in the midst of it, and how they can be supported during this time.
If you're able to provide support for MHC health-care heroes and COVID-19 response efforts please consider making a donation by calling 204-788-8458 or clicking here.
Areas of greatest need include...
- Long-term care - to prevent social isolation for older adults at Misericordia Place, and for Transitional Care in the form of iPads so seniors can stay connected with those they love
- Health Links- Info Santé - to expand vital services, update technology and further educate and train staff who oversee it
- Eye Care Centre of Excellence - to maintain services for eye emergencies.
- MHC health-care heroes - for changing needs of health-care workers - a $10 donation, for example, can provide a meal voucher for one busy staff member
Misericordia Health Centre Foundation has a designated COVID-19 fund that supports the areas of greatest need. To learn more, visit https://www.misericordiafoundation.com/covid19fund.html
