Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, saying there is a disturbance brewing over the southern plains sates, and expected to move towards Southern Ontario Thursday night and into the early hours of Friday morning.
A total of 62 people were killed in traffic incidents on city streets in 2017, including 36 pedestrians, with seniors aged over 65 making up a large portion of pedestrian fatalities.
Officials in the fire industry warn the popular open-concept style homes, constructed with lightweight materials, are far worse standing up to blazes than older homes.
