Carrie Underwood On Co-Hosting CMA Awards With Dolly, Reba: 'It Does Not Get Bigger Than That'
This year, when Carrie Underwood steps on stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to host the 53rd Annual CMA Awards, she will be joined by special guest hosts and Country Music Hall of Fame members Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. The three icons will be celebrating legendary women in Country Music throughout the ceremony, and as Carrie tells us, she'll be in the perfect company to do just that. [“My special guest hosts are Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. It does not get bigger than that or better than that. I feel like the three of us love what we do so much, and we love country music and it means something I feel like to have us up there on that stage kind of driving the bus for the evening and setting the tone and shine a lot on what I think is the backbone of country music and that’s the females that have come before all of us and will come in the future."] SOUNDCUE (:34 OC: . . . in the future.)
This year’s CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville on November 13th at 8pm ET on ABC.
Carrie is quickly approaching the top spot on the country charts with "Southbound."
Her Cry Pretty Tour 360 plays at Madison Square Garden in New York City tomorrow night (Wednesday, October 2nd).
