Hip Hop Beats: Nipsey Hussle & Kash Doll!
SONGWRITER FILES CLAIM AGAINST NIPSEY HUSSLE’S ESTATE: According to TMZ, a songwriter named Bradley Davis filed a claim against Nipsey Hussle’s estate alleging that he and two others wrote the music that was used on “Rap N***as” off of Nipsey’s Victory Lap album. Davis says that he copyrighted is work in December 2017. He also said that Nipsey never received permission to use his work on the album. Davis claims that he and the two other composers were never paid any royalties. Davis has not declared how much he is owes, but he feels the estate owes him some sort of compensation.
KASH DOLL APOLOGIZES TO LIL KIM: Kash Doll took to Twitter to reveal that she apologized to Lil Kim for things she said about the rapper in the past. She wrote, “First of all i met lil Kim lastnight!!!!!! She was sooooooo sweet i had to apologize to her for going on a rant when i was younger!! I was in my feelings about some sh*t someone i was working with told me she said i couldn’t go on tour with her 🙄 lil Kim didn’t event know. She was so G about it!
