UNCLE LUKE SAYS JAY-Z IS THE NFL’S ‘TOKEN BLACK GUY’: Uncle Luke has weighed in on JAY-Z’s position with the NFL, calling him the “token black guy.” Luke told TMZ, “[The NFL is] basically showing that, 'Aye look, let me go get a token black guy, throw him out there, say we're dealing with systemic racism and say we're having him involved with the entertainment. It specifically said that JAY-Z would be involved with the systemic racism and the entertainment. Right now, that's an F.” Uncle Luke recently wrote an article for the Miami News Time, where h criticized JAY’s partnership wit hah NFL.

GUCCI MANE STARS IN NEW GUCCI CAMPAIGN: Gucci Mane has partnered with Gucci for the luxury brand’s new campaign. According to Rap-Up, Gucci is the face of the Italian fashion house’s new Cruise 2020 #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP ad campaign, which also stars Iggy Pop, Sienna Miller, Benedetta Barzini, and more. Gucci Mane announced the collaboration on Instagram and said, “Proud to announce my #GucciCruise20 Collection with @gucci!!! Yo @alessandro_michele this collection is crazy !” The partnership also included the rapper’s album, Woptober II, which is expected to be released on October 17th. The cover art for the album was shot as part of the Gucci campaign.

THE GAME REFLECTS ON BEING SHOW: The Game took to social media to reflect on being shot 18 years ago. He wrote, “OCTOBER 1ST 2001 ‼️ 18 years since I was in a coma after getting shot 5 times in the dope spot... I look at this video of the younger me & I can’t do anything but thank God for the opportunity to have a second chance. “’m tellin y’all, I was a real f**k up... I never expected nor cared to live past 25 years old. I literally didn’t give a fuck !!!!... sometimes I do not know how I made it out of all I’ve been through... but, I did... & I guess that’s the only important part of my story at this point in life. G-EAZY & PUMA ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP: G-Eazy and Puma revealed that their partnership, which began in 2018, will continue with a collaborative shoe in the works to release early in 2020. Puma celebrated the partnership with a welcome home dinner on Friday ahead of his headlining performance at the 2019 Rolling Loud Bay Area Festival over the weekend in Oakland, California. The dinner featured other Rolling Loud performers such as E-40, DaniLeigh and Guapdad4000. Retired NBA player & Hall of Fame member Ralph Sampson was also in attendance. Puma will continue to support G-Eazy’s nonprofit, The Endless Summer Fund, which works with local organizations to support homeless and LGBTQ youth, and their joint program, “From The Bay to the Universe” in which G-Eazy selects a group of musicians to support their artistic efforts.
