ROMAN POLANSKI SKIPS VENICE PREMIERE: Roman Polanski, whose film about the Dreyfus Affair premiered Friday, did not travel to Italy for the premiere because of the outstanding warrant for his arrest. An Officer and a Spy, the latest for the Oscar-winning, controversial director, premiered Friday. The 86-year-old remains a fugitive after fleeing the U.S. in 1977 shortly before his scheduled sentencing on a rape charge. Louis Garrel stars as Captain Alfred Dreyfus. Mathieu Amalric, Olivier Gourmet and Emmanuelle Seigner, Polanski's wife, co-star.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE TRAILER DROPS: The trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate has arrived.  The peek at Tim Miller’s continuation of the franchise incudes plenty of effects and action, but no hints as to what the story is about. Terminator: Dark Fate, starring Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”),opens November 1.
