Lzzy Hale Has 'Lots Of New Songs' Ready For Next Halestorm LP

Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale told Australia's Everblack podcast that she has a "lot of new songs" for the band's next studio album.

Asked about recording both a new LP and another entry in the band's series of covers EPs, Hale replied, "We're kind of planning on all of those things. We're gonna take some time and we're gonna do an EP, and a couple of surprises that I'm not actually allowed to talk about right now, but they're in the works as well."

Hale added, "We're touring through the end of the year, but think we're gonna stop in the spring and try to do another record. So I'm excited about that. I have a lot of new songs . . . The writing of a song and writing something every single day has become absolutely the biggest part of my life. If I don't try to finish something every day, I don't feel like the day is complete."

Hale recently told a New Jersey radio station that the band is about to record a "secret project" in the studio before hitting the road with Godsmack this month. Halestorm's month-long U.S. tour with Godsmack will kick off on Friday (September 20th) in Green Bay, Wisconsin and end on October 18th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
