When Ozzy Osbourne was forced to cancel concert dates, Radar Online reported that he was on “a crazy train to death,” while National Enquirer suggested he could “be dead by Christmas.” Ozzy’s wife and manager said there’s no truth to the insensitive reports. Sharon Osbourne stated, “I’m not lost for words a lot, but why do people say this was true? How cold and callous are those headlines? Where’s people’s empathy? It’s not true, by any stretch of the imagination.”

She went on to explain why he canceled the shows. “He had a terrible, terrible bout of bad luck with his health, one thing after another. And then after his fall that he had; it’s been awful for him.” Sharon did assure everyone that Ozzy is getting better and is recuperating.

The former Black Sabbath Icon was forced to cancel dates in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan after he was hospitalized with pneumonia earlier this year. He then postponed more shows due to a subsequent fall. Those shows have been since rescheduled for next summer.
