Tori Kelly will be hitting the road next year for the Inspired by True Events Tour.

The Grammy-winning singer will be supporting her new album with a headlining tour that is set to launch on January 28th in Cleveland. After the August release of her latest album, “Inspired By True Events,” Kelly is headed to theaters throughout North America in late January and through February, then crosses the pond to Europe and the U.K. in March. Audrey MiKa will be opening all dates

Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public on Friday and fan club members will have access to a presale today.

After an acoustic run in 2019, Kelly is bringing the full band in 2020. “Playing these songs live is a reminder that everyone goes through these sorts of things, and we all need to know that we’re not alone,” Kelly said in a statement. “If I were to put out an album that didn’t talk about these personal stories, I would just be faking it and hiding from the truth. It turns out that the uncomfortable place was the most honest and true. It was right where I needed to be, and from there I could tell my story.”

Kelly’s last album, Hiding Place, was produced by gospel legend Kirk Franklin and touched on religious themes, but she has previously avoided the categorization of “Christian Music.” She won 2019 Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Album (for Hiding Place) and Best Gospel Performance (for “Never Alone”) and was nominated for Best New Artist.
