December Counter Attack Campaign Results


Penticton – Police in Penticton nab impaired drivers as a result of regular Counter Attack road blocks and roving enforcement in December.
Throughout the entire month of December, Police in Penticton targeted those driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. This enforcement included setting up numerous roadblocks and also roving patrols.
As a result of this increased enforcement, Officer’s with the “Community Safety and Enforcement Team” issued drivers 16 Immediate Roadside Prohibitions and 5 Driving Prohibitions.
Within the City of Penticton, Officer’s issued 28 Immediate Roadside Prohibitions of all types to drivers found impaired over the legal limit.
