A body has been found at one of the busiest beaches in the Okanagan.

Emergency personnel were called to Skaha Lake near Penticton this morning after a report of a body found on the shoreline near the Skaha Marina.

While no name has been released, the deceased is a 50 year-old female.

Authorities say this is not being considered as a criminal investigation.

An 18-year-old Kelowna man died last Friday while cliff-diving on Skaha Lake after jumping into the lake from a height of about 30 metres and did not resurface.
