Buskers Coming Back With Reduced Permit Numbers

Festivals Kelowna has been given permission to resume the Kelowna Buskers program but with some changes because of COVID 19.

Twenty permits have been released for a reduced number of Busk Stops where physical distancing can be accomodated.

Executive Director for Festival Kelowna Renata Mills said, "We are watching and making note that should the busking experience with just a limited number of permits go well then we will be encouraging an expansion of it. So it's kind of a slow, steady opening of our society and our usual activities."

There is a wait list for permits; if you are a busker visit festivalkelowna.com for details on how to get on that wait list.
