Coldest Night of the Year
An important fundraiser for Metro Community will take place on Saturday, February 22.
Executive Pastor Jeff Simla says the Coldest Night of the Year is a chance to learn more about what is being done in the city for those who are homeless, hungry and hurting.
“It’s an opportunity to have dialogue, reduce stigma and shine a light into the areas of our city that we may want to talk about, but see on a day to day basis,” explains Simla.
The family friendly event includes 2, 5 and 10km routes.
“There is such a need in our city, and it’s a growing need,” he adds.
