Temporary detour required for portion of 29th Street this week
Motorists travelling along 29th Street this week may experience minor travel delays, while crews complete upgrades to water infrastructure in the area.
Due to the nature of the work being performed, 29th Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic between 41st and 39th Avenues. A detour will be available via 28th Street (please see map below).
Construction will begin as early as 7:30 a.m., Thursday, November 9. Work is expected to be completed by the end of day.
Local traffic will still be able to access businesses and residences in the area.
Some delays should be expected for motorists; however, every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. For the safety of workers and public, please obey traffic control signage and slow-down in the area.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption may cause and appreciates everyone’s patience while the work is being completed.
