Beach back home in self isolation

Kyle Beach is home safe and sound.

The Kelowna minor hockey product is in self isolation after arriving in Canada after playing hockey in Hungry.

"It might not affect me, or I might recover, but it going to affect someone else and could be potentially fatal. I think it is something we need to take serious and hopefully we can get it under control so we can enjoy the true part of the Okanagan and obviously enjoy the summer".

He says  the screening in the airport was nothing short of 'loose'.

"We are so worried about people coming back from Europe, but yet I jumped on a plane from Calgary to Kelowna and there was no mention of it, no warning for people sitting around nothing".
The 30 year-old Beach plans to return to Europe this fall for his 11th season of pro hockey overseas.
