UWindsor Cancels Three Days of Classes to Start Week

The University of Windsor will cancel classes to begin the week as part of its Emergency Academic Plan.

According to the release, the plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic was unanimously approved by the University of Windsor Senate late Friday afternoon.

Classes will be cancelled Monday through Wednesday to provide time to, "move delivery of classes away from face to face to other forms of delivery including online."

Classes will resume Thursday while alternative delivery of classes and examinations are considered.

Residences will remain open and Library, food, student health, and other student services will continue to operate.

The university is also cancelling or postponing all non-essential events both on and off campus until further notice.

Updates for staff, students and visitors will be provided daily via the schools COVID-19 website.
