63-year-old arrested following child pornography investigation
A 63-year-old has been arrested by Windsor Police following an investigation into the possession and transmission of child pornography.
In March 2023, members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit launched an investigation after receiving information that an individual may have been uploading child pornography online.
On September 12, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Bayberry Crescent in Belle River.
Numerous electronic devices were seized, including computers, hard drives, and cellular phones.
On Tuesday, the 63-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, five counts of accessing child pornography, and five counts of transmitting child pornography.
Anyone with information on this investigation is asked to contact the Windsor Police ICE Unit.
