Air Canada Resumes Service in Windsor Next Week

Air Canada will resume service in Windsor next week.

The city has announced the airline will be offering two flights per day to Toronto's Pearson International Airport beginning on Tuesday, September 8.

In a release, the city says the terminal will be open from 7am until 7pm with safety measures in place.

Last month, airport CEO Mark Galvin told AM800's The Dan MacDonald, the planes  Air Canada will be using are 50 seaters.

Commercial flights at the airport have been grounded since April because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sunwing and Porter also fly out of Windsor but remain grounded at this time.
