Alleged Illegal Cannabis Dispensary Raided for Second Time in a Week
An alleged illegal cannabis dispensary in Windsor has been busted by police for the second time in a week.
According to police, an interim closure order was issued and the property was seized by authorities. Under the order, notices were clearly posted stating no one is allowed unauthorized access to the property.
Police say officers noticed the signs had been removed Wednesday and several people were discovered inside the building allegedly operating an illegal cannabis dispensary.
Three men and one woman were arrested and face charges of break and enter and possession for the purpose of selling under the Cannabis Act.
All four were released on a promise to appear in court.
Police also seized an undisclosed quantity of marijuana, cannabis related products, and cash.
