Windsor police is asking for the public's help in tracking down a pair of suspected smash and grab thieves.

Back in July, officers were called to a business in the 1000-block of Wyandotte St. E. and arrived to find a hole in the exterior of the building that appeared to be caused by a vehicle crashing into the building.

A stolen van had been recovered in the area earlier and investigators believe it to be the vehicle driven into the business.

A surveillance video shows a man and woman entering the business through the hole in the wall where cash was taken.

The female is described as white, in her 30's with dirty blonde hair worn in a ponytail, a heavy build and was wearing a light coloured hooded sweater and dark coloured yoga pants at the time of the incident.

The male is described as white and in his 30's as well — he has long brown hair, slender build and stands approximately 6' tall.

He was wearing a hooded sweater, baseball hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a bandana around his face at the time.

The incident is believed to have happened between July 21 at 9:30pm and July 22 at 11am.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
