Another scam targeting seniors in Windsor
A warning to the public from the Windsor Police Service about a scam targeting vulnerable seniors in the community.
Investigators say they are aware of scammers using fraudulent caller ID which shows calls coming from Windsor Police.
The fraudsters then impersonate an officer and request money.
Residents are asked to speak to their loved ones about the scam and say police will never call to ask for money, gift cards or other favours.
