ARIIUS Receives International Accreditation
A Windsor nightclub is the first outside of Ontario's two largest centres to receive an international accreditation.
ARIIUS Nightclub and Ultra Lounge has received the Best Bar None accreditation for operational standards and service excellence.
The BBN is led by the Ontario Restaurant Hotel-Motel Association.
The nightclub is located at Caesars Windsor.
ARIIUS president Kash Hasan says it's not only good news for his establishment and the casino, but really for the city.
"On a grander scale, we were really excited about the fact that Windsor was being acknowledged for the first time with this accreditation which currently exists in Toronto and Ottawa only," says Hasan.
He says it's great to be seen alongside those two cities, but he feels Windsor can stand on its own.
"I don't think it's necessarily something we need to get as far as validation. I think it's something that we deserve," says Hasan. "By us being put onto the provincial stage by this accreditation that we've received, I think now it opens people up to the thought that Windsor provides a world class, premium experience to their customers."
He thinks this is the beginning of more recognition for the city's restaurant and bar scene.
"100% this will be the beginning of a higher profile for Windsor establishments. There's definitely going to be the cream of the crop, the businesses that do provide that enhanced level of service," says Hasan.
The BBN accreditation was launched seven years ago.
