Arrest Made In Homicide Investigation


Windsor police have made an arrest in Autumn Taggart homicide investigation.

Police say a man was arrested without incident on Friday.

His name has not been released but police say he is facing a number of charges including one count of first degree murder.

Taggart who was also known as Maya Madolyn was killed in June at an apartment building on University Ave. W near McKay Ave.

The 31-year-old died of blunt force trauma.

Her 10-year-old son Gavin was in the apartment at the time of the murder.

The case remains active and investigators with the Major Crimes Branch are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
