The Los Angeles Angels are in the market for a new manager and Joe Maddon could be their guy.

The Angels parted ways with Brad Ausmus after one season and a 72-and-90 mark,  the club's worst record in 20 years.

Maddon was let go by the Cubs after an 84-and-78 MLB record. He managed them to the 2016 World Series championship, ending a 108-year drought.

Multiple outlets report Maddon is interested in the Angels' job.

Maddon worked in the Angels' organization for three decades and was Mike Scioscia's bench coach in 2002 when the franchise won its only World Series.

The 65-year-old owns a home in Long Beach.
