Barricades Must Come Down: Prime Minister Trudeau
After two weeks, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the barricades on rail lines have to come down.
Speaking at a news conference in Ottawa Friday afternoon, Trudeau called the situation 'unacceptable and untenable' with goods not moving and workers being laid off.
It follows the protests across the country over the natural gas pipeline project in British Columbia.
Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister says provincial leaders are extremely frustrated the blockades have continued for so long.
He points out laws are being broken but no one wants to see tensions rise with supporters of the Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs.
More to come...
