Braves Beat the Dodgers After Late Game Surge


Austin Riley hit a go-ahead home run in a four-run ninth inning as the Braves pushed past the Dodgers 5-1 in Game One of the National League Championship Series in Arlington.

Ozzie Albies also homered in the inning, while Freddie Freeman homered in the first for the Braves.

Max Fried allowed just one run over six innings and Will Smith picked up the win for Atlanta, which takes 1-0 series lead.

Kike Hernandez homered for the Dodgers.

Walker Buehler gave up just one run over five-plus innings for Los Angeles.

Blake Treinen gave up three runs in the ninth to take the loss for the Dodgers.

Game Two is Tuesday at 6:05 p.m.
