Windsor police are investigating the city's fifth homicide of the year.

Officers were called to Tecumseh Rd. W. near McKay Ave. at around 3:30pm Saturday.

AM800 News arrived to find an SUV parked near the west bound lanes where a bike and some personal items were scattered among a large pool of blood on the sidewalk.

A man who preferred not to be named says he provided first aid to a man in his 30s who had suffered what appeared to be stab wounds to his abdomen and neck.

Several neighbours tell AM800 News they heard a woman scream and ran to see what happened.

"At first I thought she hit the guy on the bike [with her car], but then we saw the guy and the bike were on the sidewalk and all the blood," says a witness who preferred to remain anonymous.

Police say the man was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.

No one is in custody in relation to the incident and Major Crimes is handling the investigation.

Officers are on the look out for two suspects who fled the area before police arrived.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
