Canada Day R.I.D.E. Programs Turn up Zero Impaired Drivers in Windsor


No one was charged with impaired driving during Canada Day R.I.D.E. programs in Windsor.

Windsor Police Service says officers inspected 730 vehicles at three locations Thursday.

According to police, 11 roadside tests were conducted and zero enforcement actions were taken.

Police say six people did receive tickets for traffic related offenses and one person was caught driving with a suspended licence.
