The Vancouver Canucks spotted the Detroit Red Wings a 1-0 lead before scoring the next five goals in a 5-1 win in B.C..  

J.T. Miller had a pair of power-play goals for the Canucks, who won their third straight.  

Thatcher Demko stopped 26 shots for Vancouver, which improved to 3-2-and-0.  

Dylan Larkin scored just 30 seconds into the game for Detroit and Jonathan Bernier made 27 saves in the setback.

In other NHL action on Tuesday night, Mitch Marner had a goal and two assists as the Toronto Maple Leafs overcame another slow start to down the Minnesota Wild 4-2.

Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly added four assists in the second period to tie a franchise record for the most by a Leafs player in a regular-season period.

In Montreal, Andrei Vasilevskiy made 33 saves as the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Canadiens 3-1.
