City Council Moves Back to Virtual Meetings

Windsor city council is returning to its all-virtual format.

After testing a combination of virtual and in-person meetings over the past few weeks, and threats of the second save of COVID-19, the decision has been made that the benefits of in-person attendance for council meetings aren't there right now.

According to a release from the city, the decision will be re-assessed on a meeting by meeting basis.

The first meeting to return to the zoom platform will be on October 19. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the city's streaming service found on the city's website.

Anyone wishing to be a delegation at a council meeting is still able to do so by contacting the City Clerks office by noon on the Friday before the meeting they wish to attend.
