Crawford Hosting Fundraiser and Football Camp This Weekend
Windsor native Tyrone Crawford is coming home this weekend.
The Dallas Cowboys defensive end is hosting his 4th annual Windsor's Finest Football Academy camp.
He'll be joined by a number of NFL and CFL stars including DeMarcus Lawrence, Brandon Carr and Brice Butler.
The camp takes place on Saturday at the University of Windsor's Alumni Field from 9am until 4:30pm.
He says he enjoys giving back to the local community.
"I always want to share my story and my grind with the youth no matter where it's at but I have a real strong passion in my heart for this city and just trying to help grow the football love," says Crawford.

Crawford says before Saturday's camp, he'll be hosting a fundraiser on Friday night called "A Night With The Stars" at Ariius Nightclub inside Caesars Windsor.
He says proceeds from his fundraiser will support area groups and organizations.
"Last year we tried do what we can for the brain injury foundation here in Windsor and this year we plan on going more into single parent homes and homeless shelters just different things like that to share our love in that area," says Crawford.

Crawford will also be live on AM800 Friday morning from 8am until 9am.
