Deshaun Watson done for the season
(Cleveland, OH) -- The Browns' star quarterback is done for the season.
Cleveland announced on Wednesday that Deshaun Watson will undergo surgery to repair a fracture in his throwing shoulder.
Watson is expected to recover in time for the start of 2024.
The three-time Pro Bowler suffered the injury during the team's come-from-behind win over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday.
Watson was already dealing with a shoulder injury, which cost him several games this year.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski named rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson the starter for the Browns' matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
