No Canadian teams will be vying for the Stanley Cup this season.

Defenceman Shea Theodore scored late in the third period and Vegas added two empty-net goals as the Golden Knights blanked the Canucks 3-0 in Game 7 of their Western Conference semifinal.

Vancouver was the lone Canadian team left in the post-season.

Elsewhere, the Dallas Stars advanced as well rallying for a 5-4 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Joel Kiviranta completed his first career hat trick scoring the overtime winner early in the extra frame.

The Stars will meet the Golden Knights in the Western Conference final which gets underway Sunday night.
