Former Deputy Fire Chief in Windsor Dies

It's a sad day for two local fire departments in Windsor-Essex.

Former Windsor Fire Deputy Chief Tim Berthiaume has passed away.

He died Friday morning.

Berthiaume spent 30-years with Windsor Fire and Rescue.

He then become Deputy Fire Chief in Calgary and finished off his career as chief in Leamington.

There are no other details at this time but flags at Windsor fire are expected to be lowered to half-staff.
